Membranes for the production of fuel cells, separators and battery foils for lithium-ion cells require a combination of process steps. Fuel cells

Various process stages are necessary for the production of fuel cells for which the respective machines are employed. Coating processes, hydrolization, drying, sintering etc. are used for production of the MEAs of polyphosphoric acid. These membrane electrode assemblies are then used to make cells with previously coated carbon fiber material as components with separators. We have just the right machines for this application.

Li-ion batteries

Copper or aluminum foils are coated with anode or cathode slurry and subsequently gently dried in a multistage process. The narrow tolerances for the compressed layer require precise process control and calendering at high contact pressures. These are used to manufacture high-capacity cells.
