Coating of anodes and cathodes for the manufacturing of Batteries
Mathis AG has developed an R&D range specifically for the coating of anodes and cathodes. The multifunctional coating head is designed for various coating processes like slot die, doctor knife coating and more. The coating head allows for position settings from 8 to 12 o’clock. The gap adjustment is possible either by hand or automatically. Wet and dry weight measurements improve the accuracy of the coating. Pumps, pump accessories and coating trough are specified in accordance with the application. The new dryer allows that top and bottom air can be controlled individually. This is possible for the temperature as well as the exit velocity at the nozzles. The dryer can also be configured as floatation dryer. For the modular dryer various nozzle designs can be selected to achieve the best possible drying of the product.
